Worship Services

After Larimer County Jail laid off the full time chaplain in a budget cut in 2017, we were given an opportunity to offer Sunday worship services. Currently this is two Sundays a month and has three main elements. We do worship with a small team, offer a Bible-based teaching, and then have a ministry prayer time.

While this program is independent of the songwriting workshop, there are often inmates who attend both - though this is never required. This is our opportunity to interact face to face and to ask the Holy Spirit to minister healing, hope, and salvation to broken people.

We have a small team of volunteers who regularly come into the jail for these services to be available to pray with the inmates. This is “hands on” engagement in ministry and is providing an opportunity for followers of Jesus to get involved doing “the stuff that Jesus did” when he walked on the Earth.
